When is the check-in/check-out times?

Check in is at 2pm & check out is at 11am. We will try to have your room ready as soon as possible. Guests are more than welcome to use common areas before check-in and after check-out.

Do I need identification?

Yes, you must present a valid passport or national identification (i.e. Nicaraguan Cedula) upon check-in.

Can I store my luggage before/during /after my stay?
Yes, of course! We’d be happy to store your luggage in the reception area before/after check-in. We will accommodate your bags in a safe area.
Every room has lockers to store your luggage safely. You must bring your own lock, or you can buy one around the corner at the hardware store.
How can I book tours and activities?
All tours and activities can be booked upon arrival or at any point during your stay with one of our lovely receptionists between the hours of 7am & 7pm.
Is breakfast included?
You betchya! We are proud to offer you a locally sourced breakfast and free coffee made fresh every day. We have different options for each day of the week, so you’ll never get bored.

Is it safe?
Nicaragua is the safest country in Central America. We’ve also got a team of night guards who rotate each night; they are here from 6pm-7am. We also have a private security company (affectionately referred to as ‘robocops’) who do rounds throughout the night. You’re very safe here. Like always though, be sure to lock your door and secure valuables when you leave.

Do you have parking?
We have street parking outside the building. This is a safe place to park as we have staff and guards on site 24/7.
We have parking on our facility free of charge.
When can I cancel for free?
Sometimes life happens and we have to make changes or cancel plans. This sucks.
Cancellations must reach the hotel by 12pm, local time, 30 days prior to arrival, at the latest. If you cancel within the acceptable time frame, you will be entitled to a full refund, less any applicable processing fees.

If a cancellation is made within 30 days of check-in, we reserve the right to charge you for the entire value of your reservation, plus any applicable taxes and fees.

If you have booked our hotel through a third party booking site like, or AirBnb, then the specific cancellation/refund policies for each of those booking engines will take precedence over the cancellation policy outlined on this website.
Can I bring an animal/pet?
Unfortunately, no animals or pets allowed at our hostel.

Do you have internet?
Yes, we have free fiber optic internet and WiFi throughout the property. We have gone to great lengths to get the best internet provider we can find in Nicaragua. Sometimes, their service fluctuates, sometimes the power goes out and those are great opportunities to disconnect from the rest of the world.
What time are the reception hours?
Reception hours are between 7am & 7pm. Check in after 7pm will be handled by the night guard.

Can I smoke in the room?
No, absolutely no smoking in the rooms nor anywhere inside the building. Some rooms have a balcony where smoking is permitted outside. Failure to follow this rule can result in a fine of $250 USD.
Is there an age limit?
We welcome families and children of all ages in our establishment. We have a few private rooms especially designed for families with children. Young people under 18 cannot stay at the hotel without being accompanied by a legally responsible adult.
Can I bring my own alcohol & food?
It is prohibited to bring outside alcohol & food in. We have a restaurant, café and full bar downstairs where food and drinks are available for purchase.

Is the place wheelchair accessible?
We do not have a wheelchair accessible place.

What options are there for payments?
The first night will be charged on credit card when the reservation is made and the remaining amount must be paid in cash.
Do you accept different currency?
We accept both US Dollars and the local currency, Nicaraguan Córdobas.
Is the water drinkable from the tap?
Drinking tap water is not recommended. We have locally made clay water filters that are widely used across Nicaragua and the world. Hydrate like a CHAMP! Re-fill your water bottle and help us reduce plastic bottle waste.
Are towels and linens provided?
All of our beds are equipped with standard bed sheets and linens. Towels are only included in our private rooms.

Can I have my laundry done there?
We do not have laundry service in our facility, but you are welcome to explore any of the various local Laundromats around the corner.
